1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (26 ounce) can four cheese pasta sauce
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
2 (25 ounce) packages frozen beef ravioli
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook onion and garlic in oil about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender.
  • Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, and Italian seasoning.
  • Place about 1 cup of the sauce in the bottom of a crock pot.
  • Add 1 package frozen beef ravioli; top with 1 cup of cheese.
  • Top with remaining package of ravioli; sprinkle remaining 1 cup of cheese over.
  • Pour remaining sauce evenly over the top.
  • Cover and cook on the Low heat setting 4 hours, or until ravioli are tender.
  • Sprinkle with parsley to serve.

1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. italian seasoning
salt/pepper
10 oz. frozen spinach, thawed (i used fresh spinach)
16 oz. bowtie pasta, cooked
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Put in crock-pot and add sauce, tomatoes and seasonings. Cook for 6-7 hours on low. Add the last 4 ingredients during the last 30 minutes of cooking and turn crock-pot to high. I added the fresh spinach, pasta, parmesan and 1 cup of the mozzarella and I mixed it all up really well. Then I added the last 1/2 cup of mozzarella to melt on the top.
