- Death by Chocolate:
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar until aerated, just before soft peaks have started to form. Gently fold in the creme fraiche.
- In a large trifle bowl, place a thick layer of the Chocolate Pudding, top with a layer of the whipped cream mixture and then sprinkle on half of the cookies and half of the toffee candy. Repeat the process, finishing with the cookies and candy. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill for 2 hours and serve.

Steps:
- In a bowl, combine cocoa powder and ice cream.
- Add some of the milk, mashing with a potato masher or a hand held electric beater (not turned on) as you go.
- You can choose to leave it thicker and more lumpy by adding less milk or mashing less (my favorite), or have a thinner shake by adding more milk and mashing more thoroughly.
- Add more cocoa powder if needed.
- SERVE!
- I also like topping with mini chocolate chips.

Tips:
- Use quality ice cream: The type of ice cream you use will greatly affect the flavor of your milkshake. Look for a premium ice cream that is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Don't over-blend the milkshake: Over-blending can incorporate too much air into the milkshake, making it thin and foamy. Blend just until the ingredients are combined and smooth.
- Add flavorings to your liking: You can add a variety of flavorings to your milkshake to create a unique flavor profile. Some popular add-ins include chocolate syrup, peanut butter, fruit, and spices.
- Garnish your milkshake: A garnish can add a touch of elegance and make your milkshake more visually appealing. Some popular garnishes include whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate shavings.
Conclusion:
Dad's Chocolate Milkshake is a classic recipe that is sure to please everyone. With its rich, creamy texture and delicious chocolate flavor, this milkshake is a perfect treat for any occasion. Be sure to experiment with different flavorings and garnishes to create your own unique milkshake recipe.
