Tips:

  • Use fresh, soft dates. This will ensure that your date goodies are moist and chewy.
  • Pit the dates before using them. This is easiest to do with a sharp knife. Just cut a slit down the side of the date and remove the pit.
  • Chop the dates finely before using them. This will help them to blend in better with the other ingredients.
  • Use a food processor to make a smooth date paste. This is a great way to incorporate dates into your recipes without having to chop them finely by hand.
  • Add nuts, seeds, or dried fruit to your date goodies for extra flavor and texture. Some popular additions include walnuts, almonds, pecans, chia seeds, flax seeds, and raisins.
  • Roll your date goodies in coconut, cacao powder, or chopped nuts for a festive look. This is also a great way to add extra flavor.
  • Store your date goodies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.

Conclusion:

Date goodies are a delicious and healthy snack or dessert that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a sweet treat, reach for a date goodie instead of a candy bar or cookie. Your body will thank you!
