Tips:

  • Use good quality chocolate: The better the chocolate, the better the cookie bars will taste. Look for a chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the cookie bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cookie bars until they are just set: Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly. Bake them until the edges are just starting to turn golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the cookie bars cool completely before cutting them: This will help them to hold their shape.
  • Store the cookie bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

These decadent chocolate cookie bars are the perfect treat for any chocolate lover. They are rich, fudgy, and have the perfect amount of chewiness. They are also very easy to make, so they are perfect for busy weeknights or weekends. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a delicious batch of these cookie bars that the whole family will love.
