Number Of Ingredients 7

Serves 2
2 cups frozen blueberries
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 cup pomegranate juice
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
1 tbsp raw sunflower seeds
1 banana, sliced

Steps:

  • In a cereal bowl, combine all ingredients. Heat in the microwave for 3 minutes. Note: On the go, combine all ingredients in a sealed container to eat later, either hot or cold.

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter the bars will be.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the bars tough.
  • Press the batter firmly into the pan. This will help the bars hold together.
  • Bake the bars until they are golden brown. This will ensure that they are cooked through.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help them set and keep their shape.

Conclusion:

These banana oat bars are a delicious and healthy snack or breakfast option. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your own dietary needs. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and nutritious treat that the whole family will love.
