CHERRY CHICKEN SALAD
After dining at a cafe in Michigan about 10 years ago, I tried duplicating this scrumptious twist on Chicken Salad at home. The cherries can be ordered on-line these days, which makes it much easier for those of us living where cherries are not readily available. Regular milk can be substituted for buttermilk, if necessary.

CURRY CHICKEN PASTA SALAD
Good for lunch or dinner, this warm-weather pasta salad is a complete meal when served over a bed of lettuce with a side of fresh sliced garden tomatoes and warm garlic breadsticks. I usually add more curry powder than the recipe calls for.

Tips:
- Use a variety of nuts for added texture and flavor. Some good options include walnuts, pecans, almonds, and pistachios.
- If you don't have dried cherries, you can use other dried fruits such as cranberries, raisins, or apricots.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of mayonnaise and sour cream to your liking. You can also use Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
- If you're making the pasta salad ahead of time, wait to add the dressing until just before serving. This will prevent the pasta from becoming soggy.
