Tips:

  • To make the perfect chimichanga, start with high-quality tortillas. Fresh, corn tortillas are the best choice, as they are more pliable and less likely to crack or tear when you roll them up.
  • Don't overfill your chimichangas. Too much filling will make them difficult to roll and seal, and they may burst open during frying.
  • Use a good quality oil for frying. Vegetable oil, canola oil, or peanut oil are all good choices. Avoid using olive oil, as it has a low smoke point and can burn easily.
  • Fry the chimichangas in batches, so that the oil doesn't get too crowded. This will help to ensure that they cook evenly and don't stick together.
  • Serve the chimichangas immediately, with your favorite toppings. Some popular choices include salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese.

Conclusion:

Easy Baked Chimichangas are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for busy weeknights. They can be made with a variety of fillings, so you can customize them to your liking. Whether you serve them with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream, these chimichangas are sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
