1 Tbsp olive oil
1 large head romaine lettuce, rinsed and chopped
1/2 c caesar salad dressing
1/3 c grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Cook bacon over medium high heat in a large skillet until evenly brown. Let cool slightly, then crumble and set aside.
  • 2. In a preheated skillet, add the chicken strips, seasoning mix and oil. Cook over medium heat until chicken is golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • 3. In a large salad bowl, combine the Romaine, enough salad dressing to lightly coat, Parmesan cheese, and the crumbled bacon. Toss and place on individual salad plates.
  • 4. Top with the sliced chicken and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make a big difference in the taste of your salad. Look for ripe, crisp lettuce, juicy chicken, and creamy Caesar dressing.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the chicken: If you overcrowd the pan, the chicken will steam instead of sear, and it won't be as flavorful. Cook the chicken in batches if necessary.
  • Season the chicken generously: Don't be afraid to season the chicken with plenty of salt and pepper. This will help to bring out the flavor of the chicken.
  • Use a good quality Caesar dressing: A good Caesar dressing is essential for a great Caesar salad. You can either make your own dressing or use a store-bought dressing that you like.
  • Add some crunch: Croutons or bacon bits add a nice crunch to Caesar salad. You can also add some chopped nuts or seeds for extra flavor.

Conclusion:

Cajun chicken Caesar salad is a delicious and easy salad that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. It is packed with flavor from the Cajun-spiced chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, and crunchy croutons. This salad is sure to please everyone at your table.
