Tips:
- For a crispy outer layer and a fluffy inside, ensure the crescent rolls are baked at a high temperature, around 375°F (190°C).
- Using cold butter is crucial for achieving flaky layers. If the butter is too soft, it will melt and absorb into the dough, resulting in a less flaky texture.
- For a richer flavor, use unsalted butter and add a pinch of salt to the dough.
- To achieve a golden-brown color, brush the crescent rolls with a mixture of egg yolk and milk before baking.
- Allow the crescent rolls to cool slightly before serving to prevent them from falling apart.
- If you want to add fillings to your crescent rolls, be sure to use dry fillings, as wet fillings can make the dough soggy.
