Tips:
- Choose the right ground beef. For the best meatballs, use a ground beef that is at least 80% lean. This will help to keep the meatballs moist and juicy.
- Do not overmix the meatball mixture. Overmixing can make the meatballs tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Form the meatballs into uniform sizes. This will help them to cook evenly.
- Brown the meatballs before adding them to the slow cooker. This will help to seal in the flavor and prevent them from falling apart.
- Use a good quality gravy mix. This will make all the difference in the flavor of the dish.
- Let the meatballs and gravy simmer for at least 4 hours. This will allow the flavors to meld and the meatballs to become tender.
- Serve the meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
