DELICIOUSLY EASY GARLIC HERB FOCACCIA

Deliciously Easy Garlic Herb Focaccia image

Make focaccia in an hour. Or a little longer if your bread machine doesn't have a pizza cycle. Also great as a pizza dough! I personally use 2 cups unbleached bread flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour. As with most recipes I have created - they are a base on which to build.

Tips:

  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh herbs, you can use dried herbs, but use half the amount.
  • Don't overwork the dough. Overworking the dough will make the focaccia tough.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size. This will take about 1 hour.
  • Bake the focaccia in a preheated oven. This will help the focaccia to rise properly.
  • Brush the focaccia with olive oil before baking. This will help the focaccia to brown and give it a crispy crust.
  • Serve the focaccia warm or at room temperature. Focaccia is best eaten fresh, but it can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

Focaccia is a delicious and versatile bread that can be enjoyed as an appetizer, main course, or side dish. It is easy to make and can be customized with a variety of toppings. With its crispy crust, fluffy interior, and flavorful herbs, focaccia is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
