Number Of Ingredients 7

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon water
1 egg
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
72 semisweet chocolate chips (about 3 tablespoons)
12 star-shaped Christmas pretzels or pretzel sticks

  • Heat oven to 375°F (350°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheet). In medium bowl, mix cookies as directed on package, using oil, water and egg.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, high-quality ingredients will result in better-tasting cookies. Use real butter, not margarine, and use high-quality chocolate chips.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
  • Bake the cookies at the right temperature: The ideal baking temperature for reindeer cookies is 350°F (175°C). Baking the cookies at a lower temperature will result in soft, chewy cookies, while baking them at a higher temperature will result in crispy cookies.
  • Don't overbake the cookies: Overbaked cookies will be dry and crumbly. Bake the cookies for just until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
  • Let the cookies cool before decorating: Allow the cookies to cool completely before decorating them. This will help prevent the decorations from melting or sliding off the cookies.

Conclusion:

Reindeer cookies are a festive and delicious treat that are perfect for the holiday season. They are easy to make and can be decorated in a variety of ways to suit your taste. With a little planning and effort, you can create beautiful and delicious reindeer cookies that will be the hit of your next holiday party.
