GRILLED STEAK FAJITAS

Grilled Steak Fajitas image

This tasty main dish is as quick and easy to assemble as tacos. Marinating the meat overnight makes it very tender. We like the hearty and flavorful steak slices. I serve the fajitas with Spanish rice, refried beans and a gelatin dessert. -Pamela Pogue, Quitman, Texas

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality steak that is at least 1 inch thick. Look for a steak with good marbling, as this will help to keep it juicy and flavorful during cooking.
  • Be sure to cut the steak against the grain. This will help to make it more tender and easier to chew.
  • If you don't have time to marinate the steak, you can still make this recipe. Just be sure to season the steak well with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices before cooking.
  • When cooking the steak, be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked steak will be tough and chewy. For medium-rare steak, cook it for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 135 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The avocado sour cream sauce is the perfect complement to the steak kabobs. It is creamy, tangy, and flavorful. Be sure to make plenty of it, as you'll want to use it on everything.

Conclusion:

Fajita steak kabobs with avocado sour cream sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make weeknight meal. They are perfect for a summer cookout or a party. The steak is juicy and flavorful, and the avocado sour cream sauce is the perfect complement. Be sure to try this recipe the next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal that is sure to please everyone at the table.
