Fat Free Sugar Free Fruit Dip (But No One Will Ever Guess!) image

I used to make marshmallow fluff and cream cheese dip (aka Heart Attack in a Bowl), but switched to this diet version. This is sweet, rich, and creamy.

FAT FREE FRUIT DIP

Fat Free Fruit Dip image

This is a great recipe. i used plain yogurt, but it tasted just weird so i tried vanilla yogurt and it was great. people were even dipping their cookies in it so i think if i make it thicker it will be a great frosting recipe too. but any kind will work.

Time 1h5m

Yield 2 cup, 16 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 3

6 -8 ounces non-fat vanilla yogurt (or strawberry or whatever you choose)
1 (8 ounce) package fat free cream cheese
2 (1 g) packets Splenda sugar substitute

Steps:

  • just mix it all together with a hand blender, then put in fridge for an hour or so. ( i had it in the fridge all night but did not try for just 1 hour so experiment with it) serve with fruit. ( or apparently cookies too).

Tips:

  • Choose ripe and flavorful fruit: The better the fruit, the better the dip will be. Look for fruit that is brightly colored and free of blemishes.
  • Use a variety of fruit: This will give your dip a more complex flavor and texture. Some good combinations include berries, citrus fruits, and tropical fruits.
  • Add some sweetness: If your fruit is not very sweet, you can add a little bit of sugar, honey, or maple syrup to the dip. You can also use a naturally sweet fruit, such as bananas or mangoes.
  • Add some tanginess: A little bit of lemon juice, lime juice, or yogurt can help to balance out the sweetness of the fruit and give the dip a more refreshing flavor.
  • Add some creaminess: If you want a richer, creamier dip, you can add a little bit of Greek yogurt, sour cream, or cream cheese. You can also use a dairy-free alternative, such as almond milk yogurt or tofu.
  • Add some spices: A little bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger can help to add depth of flavor to the dip. You can also use a pre-made spice blend, such as pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice.
  • Chill the dip before serving: This will help to firm it up and make it more refreshing.

Conclusion:

Fat-free fruit dip is a delicious and healthy snack or dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own liking. With so many different recipes to choose from, you are sure to find one that you love. So next time you are looking for a healthy and refreshing snack, reach for a fruit dip instead of a bag of chips or candy. Your body will thank you for it!
