1 egg
all-purpose flour
oil for frying

Steps:

  • Combine fish, 1/2 cup flour, oyster sauce, sweet chili sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, cilantro, green onions, and egg in a food processor. Process until well combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

2 cups shredded carrots
1 cup green onion (chopped)
1/2 lb fish fillet (without skin)
cooking oil (for frying)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha hot sauce
lime soda (7-Up or Sprite)

Steps:

  • Slice the fish filets into thin strips. Season the strips with salt and pepper.
  • Prepare the batter - add flour into a mixing bowl, then slowly add lime soda while stirring it constantly. Add enough liquid until you get a pancake batter consistency.
  • Season the batter with salt, fish sauce, ground black pepper, paprika, and sriracha hot sauce. Mix all these ingredients until they're well incorporated.
