1/4 lb fresh mushrooms, in 1/8-inch slices
1 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 pinch sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
lettuce leaf
