Steps:

- Place each sandwich on a preheated panini press and grill until the bread is toasted, about 5 minutes. Alternately, preheat a dry cast iron or non stick pan. Serve immediately.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly brush a 9-by-5-by-3-inch loaf pan with butter.
- Sift the flour, baking soda and salt into a medium bowl. Add the peanut butter and mix to combine. Whisk the vanilla and eggs together in a liquid measuring cup with a spout. Set aside.
- In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or with an electric hand-held mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually pour in the egg mixture while beating; beat until incorporated. Mix in the bananas (the batter will appear curdled, but don't worry), then remove the bowl from the mixer. With a rubber spatula, fold in the flour mixture until just incorporated. Fold in 1/2 cup of the peanuts.
- Add two-thirds of the batter to the prepared pan. Spread 1/2 cup of the strawberry preserves over the batter, making sure to leave a 1/2-inch border between the preserves and the sides of the loaf pan. Spread the remaining batter over the layer of preserves.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean, about 55 minutes. Cool the bread in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then turn the bread out of the pan onto the rack. After it has cooled a bit but is still warm, spread the remaining 1/4 cup strawberry preserves over the top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup chopped peanuts. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
BANANA PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY WRAPS
A fruit wrap infused with all the great flavor of a PB&J sandwich. A favorite of mine that I made to have as a quick lunch in college. I'm thinking of trying other fruits like kiwi or blackberries in place of strawberries to see if they're just as great as this combination. Or if you're feeling more adventurous, you could try changing the type of jam.

Steps:
- Cut bananas into 1/2" slices. Arrange in a single layer on a large plate or rimmed baking sheet. Freeze until firm, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Purée banana slices in a food processor, scraping down bowl as needed, until mixture becomes creamy, about 3 minutes. Add peanut butter and 3 Tbsp. water; purée until smooth, about 2 minutes more. Drizzle jelly over banana mixture, then pulse a few more times to just incorporate jelly and create a speckled appearance.
- Divide ice cream among serving bowls and serve immediately.
- Do Ahead
- Banana slices can be frozen up to a day in advance.
Tips:
- Choose the right ingredients: Use fresh, ripe bananas, creamy peanut butter, and flavorful jelly. The quality of the ingredients will greatly impact the taste of your bagel sandwich.
- Spread the peanut butter and jelly evenly: This will help prevent the sandwich from becoming too messy. A thin layer is enough to add flavor without overpowering the other ingredients.
- Slice the bananas thinly: This will make them easier to eat and will help prevent them from tearing the bagel.
- Toast the bagel if desired: Toasting the bagel will add a nice crunch and help to hold the sandwich together. However, this is optional, so you can skip this step if you prefer a softer bagel.
- Add a drizzle of honey or syrup: This is a great way to add a little extra sweetness to your sandwich. You can also use a flavored syrup, such as maple or strawberry, for a different flavor profile.
- Serve immediately: This sandwich is best enjoyed fresh. The bagel will start to soften over time, so it's best to eat it right away.
Conclusion:
The peanut butter, jelly, and banana bagel is a classic sandwich that is loved by people of all ages. It's a quick and easy meal that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. With its combination of sweet, salty, and creamy flavors, it's sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So, next time you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, give the peanut butter, jelly, and banana bagel a try. You won't be disappointed!
