2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil (or canola)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs, beaten

2 eggs, separated
