COCONUT MARGARITAS

Coconut Margaritas image

Setting out to duplicate the coconut margaritas we had in Costa Rica, my first attempt was awful! I surfed the internet for a good recipe with little luck. I then took what I'd learned from my first nasty try and the ideas I picked up online and after about 5 or 6 attempts I came up with this. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • For a classic margarita flavor, use 100% blue agave tequila. If you prefer a sweeter margarita, you can use a blend of tequila and triple sec or Grand Marnier.
  • Fresh lime juice is essential for a great margarita. If you don't have fresh limes on hand, you can use bottled lime juice, but it won't be as flavorful.
  • Use a good quality frozen limeade concentrate. Cheap brands can be watery and tart.
  • To make your margarita extra creamy, add a scoop of frozen coconut milk or cream of coconut.
  • For a fun and festive garnish, rim your glasses with salt or sugar.

Conclusion:

Frozen coconut margaritas are a refreshing and delicious way to enjoy summer. They're easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a cool and refreshing cocktail, give this frozen coconut margarita a try.
