Tips:

  • Choose ripe and fresh fruits: Using ripe and fresh fruits will give your granola bars a burst of natural sweetness and flavor. Avoid fruits that are bruised or have blemishes.
  • Use a variety of fruits: Don't be afraid to mix and match different fruits to create a unique and flavorful granola bar. Some popular combinations include berries, bananas, apples, and peaches.
  • Chop the fruits into small pieces: This will help to ensure that the fruits are evenly distributed throughout the granola bars and that they cook evenly.
  • Use a good quality granola: The granola you use will make a big difference in the taste and texture of your granola bars. Look for a granola that is made with whole grain oats and nuts, and that is not too sweet.
  • Add some sweetness: If your fruits are not very sweet, you can add some honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar to the granola bars. Be careful not to add too much sweetener, as this can make the granola bars too sweet.
  • Press the granola bars firmly into the pan: This will help to hold the bars together and prevent them from crumbling.
  • Let the granola bars cool completely before cutting them: This will help to prevent the bars from falling apart.
