A simple fruity white wine sangria made with oranges, white peaches and fresh squeezed orange juice. Served with a splash of sparkling water.

1 cup peaches or nectarines (sliced)
1 orange, sliced
1 lime, sliced
1 cup strawberries, sliced
1 750 ml bottle of white wine, (I used chardonnay)
1/2 cup fruit juice, (I used mango juice)
1/4 cup brandy
1/4 cup peach schnapps

Steps:

  • Add peaches, oranges, limes and strawberries to a large glass pitcher.Pour in wine, juice, brandy and peach schnapps. Stir to combine and let sit for a couple of hours to let the flavors develop then serve and enjoy!

1 (750-ml) bottle white wine
1 lemon, cut into wedges
1 orange, cut into wedges
1 lime, cut into wedges
1 peach, pitted and cut into wedges
1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/2 cup lemonade (or limeade)
1/2 cup sugar
3 ounces brandy (apricot, peach, or berry-flavored)
1 (8-ounce) can pineapple (diced, with juice), optional
2 cups ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Pour wine into a serving pitcher and squeeze juice from lemon, orange, and lime wedges into wine.
  • Add citrus fruit wedges (leaving out seeds, if possible) to serving pitcher.
  • Add peach wedges, sliced strawberries, lemonade or limeade, sugar, brandy, and pineapple with juice, if using. Chill overnight to marry flavors.
  • Add ginger ale and ice just before serving.

This sangria takes five to 10 minutes to assemble in a large pitcher. Take the time to prepare it in the morning so the sangria has several hours to develop its fruity flavor. Pull it out when dinner is ready to serve that evening.

3 tablespoons sugar
3 shots Calvados or other apple liquor
1 lime, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
2 ripe peaches, cut into wedges
3 ripe green apples seeded and cut into wedges
1 bottle white Rioja Spanish wine or other dry white wine
1 pint raspberries
Sparkling soda water, for topping off glasses of sangria at table

Steps:

  • Combine sugar, Calvados, lime, lemon, peaches and apples in a large pitcher. Cover with 1 bottle of Rioja wine and chill sangria several hours. To serve, spoon fruits into glasses or goblets, adding a few fresh raspberries in each glass, pour wine over top of the fruit. Top glasses of sangria off with a splash of soda water and serve.

1 cup fresh raspberries
1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
1 gala apple, diced
1 orange, sliced
One 750-milliliter bottle white wine
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 1/2 cups ginger ale
1/3 cup apple brandy

Steps:

  • Fill a pitcher with 2 cups of ice. Gently place the blueberries, raspberries, mango, apple and orange into the pitcher. Pour in the white wine, apple juice, ginger ale and apple brandy. Stir to combine and serve immediately.

2 ounces Cointreau liqueur (1/4 cup)

  • Juice the second orange.
  • Combine orange and lemon slices and orange juice with the wine, sugar and liquor.
