1 pound ground beef
1 pound bulk spicy pork sausage
2 pounds American cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (4 ounce) can canned diced green chiles, drained
1 (4 ounce) can canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain fat. Stir in the cheese cubes; cook over medium heat until melted, stirring constantly. Mix in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, green chiles, and jalapeno peppers. Stir well.
  • Transfer dip to a slow cooker set to Low to serve.

Great in a Crock Pot on Game Day! Men LOVE this dip and it's very easy - not a lot of chopping involved!

6 -8 pieces bacon, crumbled
4 -5 green onions, greens and whites, minced
8 ounces light cream cheese
8 ounces Velveeta reduced fat cheese product (1/2 block)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon dried red pepper flakes
6 ounces beer (1/2 can)

Steps:

  • Cook bacon crisply, remove from pan to drain on paper towels; reserve grease.
  • In hot grease, saute green onions until bright green and soft - drain on paper towels.
  • In your Crock Pot insert or microwavable bowl, combine cream cheese, Velveeta, garlic powder and pepper flakes.
  • Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and stir to combine and microwave again for 3 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.
  • Add beer and stir to "loosen" to a dippable consistency.
  • Stir in bacon and green onions and serve hot with corn chips or crackers.

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef, cooked, drained
Tortilla chips for dipping, as desired

  • Spray 5- to 6-quart round or oval slow cooker with cooking spray. In large bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on high speed until smooth. Beat in salsa con queso dip until well combined, followed by prepared cheese product and beer, beating until nearly smooth. Pour mixture into slow cooker.
  • Add uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box); stir until well combined. Stir in cooked ground beef.

1 box Velvetta cheese, 32 oz.
1/2 - 1 c diced jalapeno peppers
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 bag(s) tortilla chips

  • 2. Then cube the Velveeta into small cubes. Add cheese to the Crock Pot.
