Garlic mashed potatoes are a classic side dish that can be found on menus in many restaurants. They are creamy, flavorful, and the perfect complement to a variety of main courses. If you're looking for a recipe that will give you restaurant-quality mashed potatoes at home, there are a few things you'll need to keep in mind. First, start with the right potatoes. Russet potatoes are the best choice for mashed potatoes because they have a high starch content, which makes them fluffy and smooth. Second, don't overcook the potatoes. They should be cooked until they are tender but still hold their shape. Third, use plenty of butter, milk, and cream. These ingredients will give your mashed potatoes a rich, creamy flavor. Finally, don't forget the garlic! Roasted garlic adds a delicious savory flavor to the potatoes.
