2 cups gluten-free flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons orange peel, freshly grated
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F
  • Combine all ingredients except walnuts in large bowl.
  • Beat at medium speed until well mixed.
  • Stir in walnuts.
  • Pour into greased 8x4-inch loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.

1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 grated orange, rind of
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*.
  • Grease an 8in loaf pan.
  • Combine dry ingredients in small bowl.
  • In lg bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add egg yolks, one at a time, beat well.
  • Add orange peel.
  • Add flour mix and orange juice, alternately.
  • In small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
  • Gently fold egg whites and walnuts into batter.
  • Pour into pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, until bread tests done.
  • Mix orange juice and powdered sugar together.
  • Spoon over the bread as soon as it comes out of the oven.
  • Let cool in pan 10 minutes.
  • Remove and cool completely.

2 large eggs, room temperature
3 medium ripe bananas, mashed (about 1-1/4 cups)
3/4 cup orange juice
3 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the sugar, oil and eggs; mix well. Stir in bananas and orange juice. Combine the dry ingredients; add to banana mixture, beating just until moistened. Stir in walnuts. Pour into 2 greased 8x4-in. loaf pans. , Bake at 325° until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 50-60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans to a wire rack to cool completely. 1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs, room temperature
2 cups mashed ripe bananas (4-5 medium)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a small bowl, whisk eggs, bananas, sugar, applesauce, oil and vanilla.
