Moist and delicious with this recipe you can get your BBQ chicken fix without having to fire up the grill. It's extremely easy to make. A great way to serve BBQ chicken at a cookout that can be made ahead of time. If you have leftovers (or just want a different option), shred the chicken and serve on Hawaiian rolls. Yum!

Time 6h10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

3-6 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle bbq sauce (18 oz)
1/4 c white vinegar
1/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 Tbsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Place chicken in Crock Pot. (I throw mine in frozen and it works amazingly. You don't even need to break them apart!)
  • 2. Mix BBQ sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and garlic together in a separate bowl. (Make sure brown sugar is fully blended.)
  • 3. Pour BBQ mixture over chicken, making sure to coat the chicken evenly.
  • 4. Replace lid and cook on high for 6 hours. If using thawed chicken reduce time to 4 hours so as not to burn the chicken.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover chicken. I usually make a big batch of roasted chicken on Sunday and then use the leftovers to make this crock pot BBQ chicken on Monday. It's a quick and easy meal that the whole family loves.

This recipe is perfect for a summer cookout. I like to make it ahead of time and let it cook all day. Then I can just put it out on the buffet table and everyone can help themselves.

I've made this recipe several times and it's always a hit. I like to use different types of BBQ sauce each time to change up the flavor. My favorite is a smoky BBQ sauce.

I'm not a big fan of BBQ sauce, but I loved this recipe. The chicken was so tender and juicy, and the sauce was just the right amount of tangy. I'll definitely be making this again.

This recipe was easy to follow and the chicken turned out great! I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts and they were cooked perfectly in 4 hours on low. The BBQ sauce was also delicious and I had plenty left over to use on other things.
