GLUTEN-FREE SHAKE AND BAKE ALMOND CHICKEN

Gluten-Free Shake and Bake Almond Chicken image

This is my go-to recipe when I'm in a hurry. It's so easy, and yet so good. Because of the coating, the chicken is always extra juicy. Kids can't tell they're nuts (looks like breading) and love it. It's healthy (and grain-free for those with allergies). Everyone asks me for the recipe...that's my cue to add it to Allrecipes!

CRISPY HERB-BAKED CHICKEN - GLUTEN FREE

Crispy Herb-Baked Chicken - Gluten Free image

This is a clever idea - using potato flakes as an herb mixture instead of flour. I haven't tried this but can't wait. I intend to try this as part of chicken parmesan (with rice noodles of course!)

Tips:

  • Use a good quality baking sheet. A heavy-duty baking sheet will help to prevent the chicken from sticking and will also help to evenly distribute the heat.
  • Preheat the oven. This will help to ensure that the chicken cooks evenly all the way through.
  • Season the chicken liberally. This will help to add flavor and depth to the chicken.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken. The chicken is done cooking when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help to keep the juices in the chicken and will also make it easier to carve.

Conclusion:

Baking chicken in the oven is a healthy and delicious way to prepare this versatile protein. By following the tips above, you can ensure that your baked chicken turns out perfectly every time. Whether you're looking for a simple weeknight meal or a special occasion dish, baked chicken is a great option that everyone will enjoy.
