1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
1 package (3 ounces) lemon gelatin
1 cup sugar
1-1/3 cups boiling water
1/4 cup lemon juice
1-3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
5 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Pour milk into a small metal bowl; place mixer beaters in the bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. , Meanwhile, in a large bowl, dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Stir in lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate until syrupy, about 1-1/2 hours. , In a small bowl, combine crumbs and butter; set aside 2 tablespoons for garnish. Press remaining crumbs onto the bottom of a 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Beat chilled milk until soft peaks form. Beat gelatin until tiny bubbles form. Fold milk into gelatin. Pour over prepared crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Cover and refrigerate until set. Cut into squares.

This is in request to 1970's jell-o recipes. My mother used to make this, and we just loved it with black cherry jell-o -- still do! (Prep time does not include chilling time.)

graham cracker
1 (3 ounce) package jell-o gelatin (any flavor)
1 pint sour cream
3/4 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Prepare Jell-O as directed.
  • Let Jell-O partially set, just enough to be able to spread.
  • Cover bottom of 8 inch square dish with whole graham crackers.
  • Mix sugar and sour cream until blended.
  • Put half of sour cream mixture over graham crackers.
  • Next spread partially set Jell-O over sour cream mixture.
  • Place in refrigerator and let set until firm.
  • Spread rest of sour cream mixture on top of Jell-O.
  • Crush graham crackers and sprinkle on top.
  • Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Cut into squares.

1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip, thawed
1 (15 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained well
1 (3 ounce) package peach Jell-O
3/4 cup boiling water
1 1/4 cups cold water

Steps:

  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter and press into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth and gradually add milk.
  • Fold in Cool Whip and spread over crust.
  • Cut peach slices in half lengthwise and arrange over the top.
  • In separate bowl, combine jello with boiling water, then stir in cold water.
  • Refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours or until slightly thickened.
  • Gently spoon jello mixture over peaches and refrigerate until set.

1 cup BAKER'S ONE BOWL Chocolate Frosting

Steps:

  • Beat pudding mix and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Let stand 5 min. Meanwhile, cover bottom of 8-inch square pan with graham squares, overlapping as needed to form even layer.
  • Stir COOL WHIP into pudding; spread half over graham squares in pan. Cover with 10 of the remaining graham squares. Repeat layers of pudding mixture and graham squares.

4-1/2 cups boiling water, divided
1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
1 package (3 ounces) orange gelatin
1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 cup pineapple juice
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Combine lime gelatin and 1-1/2 cups boiling water; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Pour into a lightly greased 8x4-in. loaf pan; chill until very firm. Repeat to make the strawberry and orange gelatins in separate pans. Combine the crumbs, sugar and butter; press into a greased 13x9-in. dish. Chill. , Meanwhile, in a small bowl, soften unflavored gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. In a small saucepan, bring pineapple juice to a boil. Stir in unflavored gelatin until dissolved. 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 carton (16 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
1 can (15 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cranberry sauce and cold water until blended. Refrigerate for 45 minutes or until partially set., Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter. Press into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish. I made this about like the recipe for parfaits. Again with the jars which I think is a great idea. Take them about anywhere and not worry about them. Course you can use parfait glasses too. These are good and seem to be filling too.

2 (3 ounce) boxes Jello gelatin, any flavors
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cups cold water
2 (6 ounce) cartons yoplait thick and creamy vanilla yogurt
9 graham crackers, crushed fine

Steps:

  • Mix both packages of jell-o with the boiling water and stir till jell-o is disolved.
  • Add cold water and stir.
  • Refrigerate about 4 hours or until jell-o is firm.
  • Put half of the jell-o into mixing bowl and add 1 container of yogurt.
  • Set mixer on a medium -low setting and blend until blended but not creamy.
  • put about 2 teaspoons gramham cracker crumbs in the bottom of 6 half pint canning jars.
  • Followed by about 2 tablespoons jell-o mixture.
  • Follow with about 2 teaspoons graham cracker crumbs.
  • Followed by about 2 tablespoons plain jell-o.
  • Next 2 tablespoons of vanilla yogurt.
  • Repeat layers until all ingreditents are gone.
  • Wipe rims, add lids and refrigerate.
  • Really I don't think the order matters.
  • Just put graham crackers between each layer.
