Steps:
- Cut the butter up into chunks, and place in a large mixing bowl. Pour the boiling water over the butter, and stir in the sugar, salt, and cardamom. Stir the mixture until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved, and let it cool down to about 105 degrees F/41 degrees C.
- Beat the yeast, eggs, and flour into the butter-sugar mixture to make a runny dough, lightly oil the top of the dough, and cover with a cloth. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Lightly grease a baking sheet, and set aside.
- Punch down the dough, and knead until soft and springy, about 12 minutes. Form the dough into golf ball-sized rolls, and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Let the rolls rise until double, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bake the rolls in the preheated oven until the bottoms are browned and the tops are lightly golden, 12 to 15 minutes.

Tips:
- Use fresh cardamom pods: Freshly ground cardamom pods will give your rolls the best flavor. If you don't have fresh pods, you can use ground cardamom, but the flavor will be less intense.
- Don't overwork the dough: Overworking the dough will make your rolls tough. Mix the dough until it just comes together, then stop.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place: The dough needs to rise in a warm place in order to double in size. If your kitchen is too cold, you can warm your oven to the lowest setting and then turn it off. Place the dough in the oven with the door closed to let it rise.
- Don't overfill the rolls: If you overfill the rolls, they will be difficult to close and they may burst open while baking.
- Bake the rolls until they are golden brown: The rolls are done baking when they are golden brown on top. If you insert a toothpick into the center of a roll, it should come out clean.
Conclusion:
Cardamom rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their sweet, cardamom-scented filling, they are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a special treat, give these cardamom rolls a try!
