GRAPE-NUTS FLAKE MUFFINS
I love the flavor of Grape Nut Flakes and I have found a few of my favorite recipes with this cereal off of the Kraft website. I forget about the low fat cooking when these come straight out of the oven -the ole butter gets smeared on! =) These are also perfect for those folks looking for low sugar muffins.

Tips:
- Choose ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your muffins will be.
- Use unsweetened applesauce: This will help keep your muffins moist and low in fat.
- Add some spices: A little bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger can give your muffins a delicious warm flavor.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make your muffins tough. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This is the best way to ensure that your muffins are cooked through.
