Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Look for pork chops that are at least 1 inch thick, with a good amount of marbling. This will help ensure that they stay juicy and flavorful during grilling.
  • Brine the pork chops: Brining the pork chops in a mixture of water, salt, and sugar helps to tenderize them and add flavor. You can brine the pork chops for as little as 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  • Use a hot grill: Make sure your grill is nice and hot before you start cooking the pork chops. This will help to sear the outside of the chops and prevent them from drying out.
  • Cook the pork chops over indirect heat: Once you've seared the pork chops, move them to the indirect heat zone of the grill. This will help to cook them through without overcooking them.
  • Use a meat thermometer: The best way to ensure that your pork chops are cooked to perfection is to use a meat thermometer. Pork chops are safe to eat when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the pork chops rest before serving: Once the pork chops are cooked, let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help to redistribute the juices and make the chops more tender.

Conclusion:

Grilled pork chops with nectarines is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a summer cookout. The pork chops are juicy and flavorful, and the nectarines add a touch of sweetness and acidity. This dish is sure to be a hit with everyone at your table!
