Time 3h20m

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup soy sauce
½ cup water
6 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons dried rosemary, crushed
4 boneless pork chops

Steps:

  • Whisk together the soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and rosemary in a bowl, and pour 1/2 of the marinade into a resealable plastic bag. Add the pork chops, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Set the remaining marinade aside.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil the grate. Remove the pork chops from the marinade, and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Place pork chops on the grill and cook until the pork is no longer pink in the center, brushing occasionally with the reserved marinade, 4 to 5 minutes on each side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

GRILLED ROSEMARY PORK CHOPS

I always hated pork chops, but my husband loved 'em, so I came up with this. I'm now madley in love with pork chops.

Categories     Pork

Time 15m

Yield 2 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1 garlic clove, crushed
3/4 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 -3 center-cut pork loin chops, about 1/2 thick

Steps:

  • Mix oil, vinegar, garlic, rosemary, salt, & pepper, and brush on chops. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes or as long as overnight.
  • Preheat grill (I just use my little on-the-counter fake George Foreman grill).
  • Grill 5-8 minutes on each side, depending on thickness. Let rest 1-2 minutes before serving.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality pork chops: Look for chops that are at least 1 inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will ensure that the chops are juicy and flavorful.
  • Brine the pork chops: Brining the chops in a mixture of salt, water, and herbs will help to tenderize them and add flavor. You can brine the chops for as little as 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  • Preheat your grill: Make sure your grill is preheated to medium-high heat before cooking the pork chops. This will help to sear the chops and prevent them from sticking to the grill.
  • Cook the pork chops over indirect heat: Once the grill is preheated, move the pork chops to the indirect heat zone. This will help to cook the chops evenly without overcooking them.
  • Use a meat thermometer: To ensure that the pork chops are cooked to perfection, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The chops should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the pork chops rest: Once the chops are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the chops, making them more tender and juicy.

Conclusion:

Grilled rosemary pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. By following these tips, you can ensure that your pork chops are cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
