Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak: For this recipe, a flank steak or skirt steak is a good choice. These cuts are relatively thin and cook quickly, making them ideal for grilling.
  • Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, and herbs helps to tenderize the meat and add flavor.
  • Grill the steak over high heat: This will help to create a nice sear on the outside of the steak while keeping the inside juicy and tender.
  • Make sure to rest the steak before slicing: This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and tender steak.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides: Grilled steak fries, citrus-thyme aioli, and a simple salad are all great options.

Grilled steak fries with citrus-thyme aioli is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a summer cookout.
