GWANNY'S "DOUBLE EGGS"

Gwanny's

Since he was able to talk, grandson Jonathan, has requested some of Gwanny's Double Eggs when he comes to visit--it took a while to realize he meant DEVILED Eggs. The special ingredient is the added small boiled irish potato which takes on the tastes of the condiments, and extends the amount of filler in the egg. The amount of condiments to add is dependant upon your own taste and consistancy desired.

Tips:

  • Use fresh eggs. Fresh eggs will give your waffles a better flavor and texture.
  • Don't overbeat the batter. Overbeating the batter will make your waffles tough.
  • Let the batter rest for a few minutes before cooking. This will allow the gluten in the flour to relax, which will also make your waffles more tender.
  • Cook the waffles over medium heat. Cooking the waffles over too high heat will make them brown too quickly and not cook through in the middle.
  • Flip the waffles only once. Flipping the waffles too often will make them tough.
  • Serve the waffles immediately. Waffles are best served hot and fresh.

Conclusion:

Gwynn's Double Eggs is a great place to get a delicious breakfast. Their waffles are especially popular, and for good reason. They're light, fluffy, and flavorful. If you're looking for a great way to start your day, be sure to check out Gwynn's Double Eggs.
