1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin (buy whole ones)
4 teaspoons spanish smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Cut tenderloins into 6, 2 inch pieces.
  • Resting each piece on it's side pound it to 3/4 inch thich.
  • Stir together paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Coat meat on both sides and apply light pressure to help it stick well.
  • Grill pork over medium coals (or about 6 inches from broiler element)for about 10 minutes.
  • Turn the steaks and grill (broil) for another 6 to 10 mins,.
  • Serve.

4 boneless pork loin steaks , trimmed of any fat
2 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
1 tbsp sunflower oil
1 large red onion , cut into thin wedges through the root
4 red apples , cored and cut into eighths
2 tbsp redcurrant jelly
1 tbsp red wine vinegar or cider vinegar
200ml chicken stock

Steps:

  • Dust the pork steaks with the Chinese five-spice powder. Heat half the oil in a frying pan and fry the pork for about 3 mins on each side until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  • Add the remaining oil to the frying pan, reduce the heat slightly, then fry the onion wedges for 2 mins. Add the apples and cook, stirring occasionally, for another 3 mins.
  • Add the redcurrant jelly to the pan, followed by the vinegar and then the stock. Bring to the boil and simmer rapidly, uncovered, for 8-10 mins until the sauce is slightly syrupy and the apples are tender. Gently reheat the pork in the sauce, turning to glaze each side.

2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Melt butter in a skillet, and mix in the soy sauce. Saute the green onions and garlic until lightly browned.

4 pork blade steaks (1/2 inch thick and 7 ounces each), trimmed
3/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced peaches in syrup, undrained
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
Hot cooked rice

  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown pork; sprinkle with the basil, salt and pepper. Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Place peaches in a 5-qt. slow cooker; top with pork.
