Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make your ham and corn pie taste its best. Look for ham that is fully cooked and diced, and corn that is fresh or frozen. You can also use canned corn, but be sure to drain it well before using.
  • Don't overcook the pie. Ham is a cooked meat, so it doesn't need to be cooked for long. Overcooking the pie will make the ham dry and tough.
  • Let the pie cool before serving. This will help the filling to set and make the pie easier to slice.
  • Serve the pie with your favorite sides. Mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread are all classic choices.

Conclusion:

Ham and corn pie is a classic comfort food that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make, delicious, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you're looking for a satisfying and hearty meal, give ham and corn pie a try. You won't be disappointed!
