1/2 pound fresh green beans cut into 1 inch pieces
3 tablespooons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 small onion, finely minced
4 ounces plus 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare potatoes and place in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam while preparing green beans.
