Tips:

  • Use high-quality ground beef: Opt for lean ground beef with a fat content of 85% to 90%. This will ensure a juicy and flavorful stroganoff.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the beef, do it in batches to prevent overcrowding and ensure even browning.
  • Use a good quality beef broth: The beef broth is a key ingredient in the stroganoff sauce, so choose one that is flavorful and has a rich beefy taste.
  • Simmer the stroganoff sauce: Simmering the sauce for at least 30 minutes allows the flavors to meld and develop, resulting in a more delicious and complex dish.
  • Use fresh mushrooms: Fresh mushrooms add a delicious earthy flavor to the stroganoff. If you don't have fresh mushrooms on hand, you can use dried mushrooms, but be sure to rehydrate them before using.
