Time 35m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (15 ounce) can hearts of palm (drained and sliced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup fresh parsley, chopped roughly
1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic salt
pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Toss hearts of palm with all ingredients and spread evenly in glass pan.
  • Bake for approx 20 minutes or until lightly crisped/browned.

Tips:

  • Use ripe hearts of palm. Unripe hearts of palm can be tough and fibrous. Look for hearts of palm that are bright green and have a slightly sweet smell.
  • Slice the hearts of palm thinly. This will help them to cook evenly and absorb the flavors of the other ingredients.
  • Don't overcook the hearts of palm. They should be cooked until they are just tender, but still have a slight crunch.
  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the dish will taste. Look for fresh, flavorful produce and high-quality cheese and ham.
  • Be creative with your garnishes. A simple garnish can add a lot of flavor and visual appeal to the dish. Try using fresh herbs, grated Parmesan cheese, or a drizzle of olive oil.

Conclusion:

Hana hearts of palm with shaved Parma ham and preserved lemon is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or side dish. It's perfect for any occasion, from a casual get-together to a formal dinner party. With its bright flavors and beautiful presentation, this dish is sure to impress your guests.
