Variety can(s) beans-pineapple-brown sugar-bbq sauce-honey-meat-green pepper optional

Steps:

  • 1. In a large roasting pan mix (6) 16 ounce cans of Busch pork-n-beans with (4) 12 ounce cans of Dole pineapple chunks (one can of whole pineapple rings reserve) add the juice of 2 cans only - add 2 lbs. of cooked crumbled bacon...you can choose to use cocktail weiners or cubed ham. Than take a medium bowl & mix 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar-3/4 cup of bbq sauce-2/3 cup of honey mix well pour into the beans & blend well. Cook uncovered on 400 degrees in oven for 2 hours stirring once each hour than reduce oven to 350 & cook at this temperture for the remaining hour. When finished stir once more than add one can of whole pineapple rings that have been broiled lightly with brown sugar on top. Serve them on top of the beans so yummy :) Optional you can add green pepper if you like.
