1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cups finely chopped assorted vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrot, cucumber and/or green onions)

Continue arranging row of 3 slices, then row of 4 slices, ending with row of 5 slices. Use remaining slice for trunk. Refrigerate one tree while the other bakes. 3. Bake one tree 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute; carefully loosen with pancake turner and slide onto cooling rack to cool. Bake and cool second tree. 4. Tips:

  • For the best results, use cold butter and cream cheese. This will help the dough stay flaky and prevent it from becoming greasy.
  • Be sure to chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out. This will make it easier to handle and prevent it from sticking to your hands.
  • When rolling out the dough, use a light touch. If you roll it out too thin, the crescents will be dry and crumbly.
  • Fill the crescents with your favorite fillings. Some popular options include chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and fruit preserves.
  • Bake the crescents until they are golden brown. This will ensure that they are cooked through and have a crispy exterior.

Conclusion:

Holiday crescents are a delicious and festive treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, and holiday gatherings. With a little planning and effort, you can easily make these delicious pastries at home.
