1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
1 large egg, room temperature
1/4 cup 2% milk
2/3 cup seedless raspberry jam
GLAZE:
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Red Hots
Green food coloring

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In a small bowl, beat egg and milk. Add to crumb mixture just until moistened. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until dough is easy to handle. , On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8-in. thickness. Cut with a 2-in. round cookie cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° until edges are lightly browned, 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¾ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, chilled
1 egg
¼ cup milk
⅔ cup seedless raspberry jam
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup cinnamon red hot candies
4 drops green food coloring
