Steps:
- 1. Pre-heat oven to 425F. In lager bowl sift all the dry ingredients together. In medium bowl combine all the wet ingredients with the pumpkin & mix well. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet & mix well. Pour all but 1 cup full into the pie crust, place in the hot oven & then add in the last cup. Bake for about 40 to 45 mins. The center of the pie might still have a little liquid, gently shake so it will be observed.
Tips:
- Use fresh pumpkin puree: Fresh pumpkin puree is essential for the best flavor and texture. If you don't have time to make your own, you can find canned pumpkin puree in most grocery stores.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the pie tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the pie in a preheated oven: This will help ensure that the pie cooks evenly.
- Let the pie cool completely before serving: This will allow the flavors to develop and the pie to set properly.
- Serve the pie with whipped cream or ice cream: This will add a delicious and creamy touch to the pie.
Conclusion:
Pumpkin pie is a classic fall dessert that is easy to make and always a hit. By following these tips, you can make the perfect pumpkin pie that will be enjoyed by everyone.
