1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Tips:

  • For best results, use boneless, skinless chicken tenders. If you only have bone-in chicken breasts, you can easily remove the bones yourself with a sharp knife.
  • To make the chicken extra crispy, coat it in a mixture of flour, salt, and pepper before baking.
  • If you like your chicken tenders with a little bit of a kick, add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the coating mixture.
  • Be sure to preheat your oven to the correct temperature before baking the chicken tenders. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet. If you're making a lot of chicken tenders, bake them in batches.
  • Serve the chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce. Some popular options include honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing.

Conclusion:

This Homestyle Chicken Tender Bake is a quick, easy, and delicious meal that the whole family will love. The chicken tenders are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the homemade honey mustard sauce is the perfect finishing touch. You can serve this dish with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.

Here are some additional tips for making this recipe:

  • If you don't have time to make the honey mustard sauce, you can use your favorite store-bought variety.
  • You can also use this recipe to make chicken nuggets. Just cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces before baking.
  • This recipe is also great for meal prep. Simply cook the chicken tenders ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator or freezer. When you're ready to eat, just reheat them in the oven or microwave.
