AVOCADO MANGO SALSA

Yowzers! Sweet and hot salsa with tangy mangoes and habaneros. Great with pork, chicken or fish or just with chips. You can omit the habaneros and add red bell peppers for a non-spicy version, but then again, why would you want to? Remember, ALWAYS wear gloves when working with habaneros!

It is best served alongside some tortilla chips, and I prefer yellow corn tortilla chips and if you have to use a name brand I prefer Tostitos.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe mangoes and avocados: To ensure the best flavor, use ripe mangoes and avocados. Ripe mangoes will be slightly soft to the touch and have a sweet, fragrant smell. Ripe avocados will also be slightly soft to the touch and have a dark green or black skin.
  • Use fresh cilantro: Fresh cilantro adds a bright, citrusy flavor to the salsa. If you don't have fresh cilantro on hand, you can substitute dried cilantro, but the flavor will be less pronounced.
  • Add some heat: If you like your salsa with a little bit of heat, add a jalapeño or serrano pepper. Remove the seeds and ribs from the pepper before chopping it so that the salsa is not too spicy.
  • Serve immediately: Mango avocado salsa is best served immediately after it is made. The flavors of the salsa will fade if it is stored for too long.

Conclusion:

Mango avocado salsa is a delicious and refreshing salsa that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste preferences. Whether you like it mild or spicy, sweet or tangy, mango avocado salsa is sure to please everyone at your next party or gathering.
