1 semi-boneless half ham (apprx 8 lb)
1 cup brown sugar
1 (15 ounce) can pineapple slices (reserve juice)
1 reynolds oven cooking bag (turkey size)
2 tablespoons flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Rub ham with brown sugar.
  • Secure pineapple rings onto ham, fat side up, using toothpicks.
  • Add 2 tbls flour to cooking bag, and shake it to coat.
  • Place bag in roaster and place ham fat side up in the bag.
  • Pour reserved pineapple juice gently over ham.
  • Close bag with nylon tie included with bag.
  • Cut six 1" slits in top of bag for steam escape.
  • Place in oven, being careful not to let bag touch sides of oven.
  • Bake 2 hours for an 8 lb ham.
  • Cool before slicing to retain juices.

2 cups white sugar
water
1 (8 pound) fully-cooked bone-in ham, or more to taste
1 cup honey
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate

Steps:

  • Combine sugar and water in a bowl and stir to dissolve sugar.
  • Slice ham just shy of the bone into 1/2- to 1-inch slices. Place ham into the water and sugar solution; add more water, so ham is completely covered with liquid. Seal with plastic wrap and let soak in the refrigerator for a minimum of 48 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • Combine honey and orange juice in a bowl. Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil.
  • Drain the ham slices, pat dry, and place in the roasting pan. Wrap aluminum foil around the bottom of the ham and pour 1/2 the orange juice mixture over the ham. Wrap ham completely in foil.

1 (5 pound) bone in spiral cut ham
2 Tablespoons whole cloves
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup honey
1/3 cup butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325*F
  • Throw away any seasoning packets that came with ham. You wont need them.
  • Open ham and place in pan.
  • With a spiral cut ham, place cloves between the slices - sticking out. Several per slice - spaced out. This will help open up those cuts to for basting and will give it tons of flavor!
  • In a small pot, on low heat) cook the brown sugar, honey and butter until sugar is dissolved.
  • Gently brush glaze over ham, and pour remaining on top and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Generously baste ham every 15-20 minutes making sure to get it in between the slices with the honey glaze. After basting brush on a new layer of glaze.
  • After ham has baked for 1 hour 10 minutes, turn on the broiler and broil your ham for 30 seconds - 2 minutes. Watch CAREFULLY as it can quickly burn if in too long. You are creating a nice crunchy top layer that will be absolutely scrumptious!

1 oven cooking bag
6 -8 lbs ham
16 ounces honey
4 teaspoons lemon pepper
2 teaspoons rosemary (crushed) or 2 teaspoons thyme (crushed)

  • Place flour in roasting bag and shake to coat inside.
  • Place ham in floured bag.
  • Combine honey, lemon pepper and rosemary.

  • Poke holes in top of bag with a fork.
