Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream. Stir by hand approximately 50 strokes, or until most large lumps are gone. Pour half of the batter into an ungreased 9x13 inch glass baking dish. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the batter in the cake pan. Spoon the other half of the batter into the cake pan, covering the brown sugar and cinnamon. Twirl the cake with a butter knife or icing knife until it looks like a honey bun (or whatever design you want to make).
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Frost cake while it is still fairly hot. Serve warm.
- To Make the frosting: In a small bowl, whisk together the confectioner's sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients whenever possible. This will result in a tastier and more flavorful Honey Bun Cake.
- Make sure to cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the batter, resulting in a tender and moist cake.
- Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can toughen the gluten in the flour, resulting in a dry and dense cake.
- Bake the cake at the correct temperature and for the correct amount of time. A toothpick inserted into the center of the cake should come out clean when the cake is done.
- Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
Conclusion:
The Honey Bun Cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is moist, flavorful, and has a wonderful honey flavor. With its simple ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a sweet treat, give this Honey Bun Cake a try.
