  • Heat oven to 350°F. Place almonds in single layer in ungreased 15x10x1- inch pan. Bake 10 minutes or until toasted and fragrant.
  • In 10-inch nonstick skillet, heat water, honey and oil to boiling over medium heat. Stir in toasted almonds. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until liquid evaporates. 3 tablespoons soft brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons liquid honey
1/2 cup slivered almonds
2/3 cup runny honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F; grease a 7-inch round cake pan and line it with baking parchment.
