Tips for Making Honey Pull-Apart Bread:

  • Proof the yeast: Proofing the yeast before adding it to the dough will help ensure that it is active and will help the bread rise properly.
  • Knead the dough properly: Kneading the dough for 8-10 minutes will help develop the gluten in the flour, which will make the bread more elastic and chewy.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place: The dough should rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
  • Shape the dough into balls: Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
  • Place the dough balls in a greased baking dish: Place the dough balls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spacing them evenly apart.
  • Pour the honey butter mixture over the dough balls: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, honey, and cinnamon. Pour the mixture over the dough balls, making sure to coat them evenly.
  • Bake the bread: Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the honey butter mixture is bubbling.
  • Let the bread cool slightly before serving: Let the bread cool slightly before serving so that the honey butter mixture has a chance to set.
