Two words: honey salmon! Sure, it takes a tiny bit of prep work, but once you marinate your salmon, you won't be able to go back. A simple mix of honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger coats and flavors your fish for 30 minutes before you throw it on the pan until the outside is perfectly crispy. Once that's done, you heat up and reduce some extra marinade to make a thick, to-die-for glaze to pour over your filet. Serve with your favorite veggies or rice and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon fillet: Look for a fillet that is about 1 inch thick and has a deep orange color. Avoid fillets that are thin or have a lot of white streaks.
  • Marinate the salmon: Marinating the salmon in the honey-soy glaze for at least 30 minutes will help to infuse it with flavor. You can also marinate the salmon overnight for an even more flavorful result.
  • Cook the salmon over medium heat: Cooking the salmon over medium heat will help to prevent it from overcooking and drying out. Cook the salmon for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through.
  • Baste the salmon with the glaze: Basting the salmon with the honey-soy glaze while it is cooking will help to keep it moist and flavorful. Baste the salmon every few minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized.
  • Serve the salmon immediately: Once the salmon is cooked through, serve it immediately with a side of rice, vegetables, or your favorite sauce.

Conclusion:

This honey-soy glazed salmon recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The salmon is moist and flavorful, and the glaze is sweet and savory. This recipe is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
