6 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
8 whole cloves
5 tea bags
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Bring first 4 ingredients to boil in heavy large saucepan over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil 6 minutes. Remove from heat. Add tea bags. Cover and let steep 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Add orange and lemon juices to punch. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Rewarm before continuing.) Using slotted spoon, remove whole spices. Serve hot.

Tips:

  • Select High-Quality Ingredients: Use loose-leaf tea or high-quality tea bags to ensure the best flavor. Fresh fruits and spices will provide the most vibrant taste.
  • Experiment with Flavors: Don't be afraid to try different combinations of fruits, spices, and sweeteners to create unique and flavorful tea punches.
  • Adjust Sweetness to Taste: Start with a small amount of sweetener and adjust to your liking. You can always add more, but it's difficult to remove excess sweetness.
  • Control the Temperature: Serve hot tea punch immediately after preparation to maintain its warmth. If serving cold, chill it thoroughly before serving.
  • Garnish Elegantly: Add visually appealing garnishes like citrus slices, cinnamon sticks, or fresh herbs to enhance the presentation.
